THE SYMBOL

That which we are - Spirit, Mind, and Body - form a Triangle. Enclosing all and binding them together is a Gift from the Creator - the Circle that is a Sense of Humor. It is this which enables us to accept the absurdities of life in a random Universe. With it, we survive the unjust bitterness and appreciate the undeserved joys.

In the center is the Light which is Love. Ever it dies as those we love die and pass out of our lives. Fueled by the Creator, ever is it reborn as we find new loves, whether they be mates, children, or pets. In the End, when we, too, die, we fly free to follow It to its Source and are rejoined with those who have gone on before.

Designed by an artist and wrought by a craftsman, a Symbol is born. It is that Symbol that I wear near my heart - the Medallion of The Phoenix.
